Our hotel is the ideal starting point for trips into the surrounding mountain countryside.

The adventure swimming pool Aquarena in Brixen and the several natural bathing lakes close by provide many opportunities for swimming and relaxing saunas. The cycle path from Brenner to Bozen goes right past our hotel. In winter, you can access the famous ski resorts of Gitschberg-Jochtal and Plose in just a few minutes by car.

The old Brenner Pass was a route of passage for emperors and kings for centuries: when, in the Middle Ages, they rode to Rome to be crowned, when soldiers and armies had to travel from the north to the south – they had to cross the Brenner Pass. The martial stronghold of the imposing Franzensfeste Fortress still tells of those warlike times and of the days of old Austrian militarism. The Franzensfeste and Mittewald are now small, compact villages. Perfect for enjoying the culture, experiencing the history and relaxing atmosphere of the old Brenner Pass.
